| Electric Palace unveils jazz line-up for 2006 |
The Electric Palace has named ten jazz groups which will be appearing on stage during 2006, continuing the venue's close association with the best of New Orleans jazz in the region - as a bonus this year three of the concerts will feature visiting musicians from the Crescent City. They are: - Thursday 26 January at 8pm The Delta Jazz Band with Colin Bowden Tickets £7 plus membership.
- Thursday 23 February at 8pm Barry Martyn & The Young Bloods Tickets £8 plus membership. Tickets and membership will be available at the Electric Palace from 26 January onwards.
- Thursday 23 March at 8pm The New Orleans Serenaders Tickets £10 plus membership Tickets will be available at the Electric Palace from 26 January onwards and at the other ticket outlets from 1 February onwards.
- Thursday 20 April at 8pm The Hugh Rainey Jazz Band with Charlie Connor Tickets £7 plus membership.
- Thursday 1 June at 8pm The London Hot Rhythm Boys Tickets £8 plus membership.
- Thursday 6 July at 7.30pm Harwich Festival Jazz Concert with two bands Original Swing and The HEP Five Tickets £7 plus membership.
- Thursday 24 August at 8pm Chris Burke and Les Muscutt from New Orleans Tickets £7 plus membership.
- Thursday 21 September at 8pm The Ken Colyer Legacy Band Tickets £8 plus membership.
