Scripted by Noel Coward from his own play, Still Life, this account of an unconsummated love affair remains a poignant illustration of how social conventions can crush an individual’s dreams of happiness: a middle-class wife and mother is filled with guilt after falling for a married doctor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a special screening for the Colchester group who support Help The Heroes. The performance will be open to the public - all tickets at the concessionary rate of £4 (plus membership).
